We can provide training for trailing, hard surface tracking, area search or human remains detection. All dogs are trained to meet the NTPDA certification standards. SAR
Since the beginning of her dog training career, Janet has had a passion for SAR training and has put a great amount of effort into learning various techniques and applying them to her training program. She has had the opportunity to attend seminars for the HITTS method of hard surface tracking and RCMP's (Royal Canadian Mounted Police) well known and admired style of tracking along with having the opportunity to work directly with one of their trainers. Recently she had the opportunity to work directly with Onno Brens from Holland; a very accomplished KNVP tracking and search dog handler/trainer. She has provided private training for law enforcement, indivuals as well as entire SAR teams, trained dogs to FEMA standards, instructed water cadaver classes at at the National CSAR Convention and has been on several HRD searches for local and federal law enforcement agencies with her GSD, Jaro. She as also assisted in writing certification standards for tracking, HRD and wilderness area searches for the NTPDA (National Tactical Police Dog Association).
